The man, who owns a mythical villa in Varkiza, his wife's gallery, and luxury cars, is accused of establishing a shipping company network and breaking the Venezuelan oil embargo twice
Eric Roveta, an Italian broker, was arrested in Venezuela on 29 March after leaving his villa in Varkiza. He was spotted and stopped by officers of the Sub-Directorate of Search for Archives & Identities of the Attica Security Directorate. An international arrest warrant and Interpol red notice had been issued, leading to his arrest in GADA.
