The Canadian jihadist movement continues to grow, with a recent trial against Anand Nath, or Adnan, a 20-year-old Mississauga resident, who allegedly shot dead his friend Naim Akl in 2021 to prevent him from exposing an operation to send funds to the Islamic State in Syria.
